 The short version is, I was about five years old when I started singing. I'm the youngest kid of two Filippino adventurers, who moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where I was born and raised. My sister, Jessica, inherited a piano from our Grandma, which led me to be her weekly chaperone after school. When I discovered I could play the same songs, by simply hearing the notes and imitating her fingers, my parents let me study too. I still recall the day I put on a 45" vinyl of Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love Of All". I was hooked. A true Filippino at heart - pop ballads were all I wanted to play and sing, and I switched my dream of becoming an airline pilot to a world famous artist! :) I then discovered Disney's "Somewhere Out There" with which I drove my parents insane, by constantly belting the parts of "Feivel" the mouse. I guess my dues paid off, as this became the platform from which this amazing journey started. A talent scout heard me while I was singing and fiddling by the piano, when I was around eight. She put me in a talent show, through which I became locally known as " The Little Singing Pinoy". With a few Michael Jackson moves and tunes, I performed where ever I could, at parties, in church, funerals - you name it! At the same time I started writing songs.
